RACHEL'S STORY
Rooted in Mankato. Committed to Mental Health Care.
Rachel was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and grew up primarily in Mankato, graduating from East High School in 2009. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2014.
During her 11 year nursing career, Rachel has spent the last eight years focused on mental health care. Rachel spent ten years at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she also completed her graduate clinical rotations while earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice.
Rachel earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Winona State University in 2024. She began her nurse practitioner career at Prairie Care in Mankato in September 2025.
When that outpatient clinic role was discontinued in July 2026, Rachel’s strong desire to continue serving her patients inspired her to open Riverside Psychiatry, where she continues caring for established patients while welcoming new individuals seeking support.
